New Peep on the Block ~ Atlanta, Georgia

Easter is only a few weeks away but I just couldn't wait to share this sneak peek of sweetheart Jackson Hooten's. You may have seen the Christmas card shoot I did with his parents in December or Lindsay's maternity shoot in February.... but there is nothing more precious and amazing than this little Hooten!! He was such a good boy during our shoot!!

And to all those little chicklets out there that will get to date this little man one day.... It is safe to say he will be nothing but a big teddy like his father!

Best wishes to the Hooten's in their new phase in life - PARENTHOOD!

Cheers,
Julie

Tour of Kitchens ~ Atlanta, GA

Beautiful kitchens, talented designers, yummy food tastings... and all for charity!
That is my brief description of the Junior League of Atlanta's Annual Tour of Kitchens. As The Junior League of Atlanta’s largest annual fund-raising event, the Tour has raised more than $1,000,000 during its history. The Tour is a self-guided tour through 14 kitchens recently renovated by Atlanta's top designers. This event is a great way to get inspiration for your own renovations while mingling with friends and tasting yummy food from Atlanta's top chefs.

All of the homes are breathtaking. I was lucky enough to get to help photograph 2 of 14 on Sunday....

Cooking demonstration and tasting with Chef Joe Truex of Watershed!

I was in love with all the tables in the homes I visited...

This event is open to the public so if you are thinking of remodeling your kitchen or just love interior design... this is an annual event for you! So write yourself a reminder to join the Junior League next March/April.

Changes in Latitude... Changes in Attitude ~ Key West, Florida

Jimmy Buffet was right... there is nothing that makes me more at peace than the beautiful drive through the Florida Keys. I was recently down there tying up loose ends in preparation for my big day on April 3rd. The long weekend had a very rocky start but once I got to Key West all the stress was lifted. The weather was perfect - sunny with a nice ocean breeze! My awesome friend (and wedding planner) Kelly and her thoughtful hubby were gracious enough to show me around all weekend. Unbeknownst to Kelly - Alan, all their friends, and I had been devising a plan to surprise her with a trip on the Commotion of the Ocean Catamaran! Continuing Kelly's birthday celebration on Saturday, she got a make-over from the fabulous Kim from Beauty Boutique followed by a mini-shoot with me!
Enjoy some of the photos from our fun weekend... My Wedding is in 30 days!!!!
