Kathryn & Caleb's West Side E-Session ~ Atlanta Wedding Photographer

Kathryn and I met for coffee a few weeks ago to talk about her upcoming wedding and see how we clicked. I had no idea we would spend close to 3 hours in Starbucks with her fabulous mother and maid of honor talking about everything under the sun! I'm forever grateful to them for having introduced me to my new favorite & AUTHENTIC NYC Pizza Place - Gino's!!  If you find yourself needing a date for pizza, let me know!  I'm right around the corner!!!

 I'm so excited to be photographing their December wedding although I'm sure Caleb wishes my camera would spontaneously combust (he's not a big fan of photos!)! Enjoy a few photos from their e-session...

The Greenbaums: Mother's Day Surprise Session

The week before Mother's day I got a Facebook message from my girlfriend Sheila's daughter Emily.  She wanted to do something really special for mom by getting pictures of the 4 children taken! Luckily, I'd been focusing so much on finishing the studio and prepping for my weddings that I haven't been booking sessions during the week. So Wednesday before Mother's day, we headed out to my favorite field in what was the gloomiest morning ever! We had just about an hour before the ran kicked in and we were able to get in enough shots to surprise Sheila with some beautiful images of her babies! I couldn't have thought of a better gift myself....Sheila - you have raised one thoughtful and amazing daughter!But ladies - next time try to book a little more in advance!!! xoxo

I love this last one.... reminds me of a DR SEUSS movie!

Suzanna & Reed: Love is in the Air ~ Peachtree Wedding Photography

Suzanna and Reed are the exception to the rule! Suzanna's parents Maura and Philippe contacted me in January about photographing their daughter's Dixie Wing Hanger wedding.  I'd never agreed to photograph a wedding without talking to the bride and groom but sometimes you make exceptions to the rules. I will sometimes book a wedding were the couple-to-be doesn't want an engagement session but I prefer to get to know my clients at least over coffee. Having had a chance to meet Maura and Philippe, we all agreed I would be their photographer.  I am one lucky lady to have been part of such a comical and emotional event. Suzanna's sisters can never be taken seriously especially with their unique dance moves and Reed's brother sure knew how to get the crowd teared up during his speech! For me, the most spectacular part of the day was their high-flying plane reception entry. Those two sure know how to make an entrance....

I love how they incorporated Philippe's French Heritage with yummy French pastries!!

I wish Suzanna and Reed a lifetime of happiness!  And Congrats Reed on getting your wings!!

Dan Martin Flowers: Buckhead's trusted source for floral creations

A few months ago I had the privilege of participating in Belk's Bridal event at the Forum. Although I didn't meet too many brides, I did have the opportunity to meet the amazing owners of Dan Martin Flowers - Vani & Elizabeth. I was honored when they asked me to do some photographs for the website they are working on. Since then, Brent and I have also had the opportunity to share a few good meals with Elizabeth and her family since they happen to live in the same neighborhood. You might have even seen her daughter Amanda's 2012 SENIOR photos on the blog!  This just goes to show the power of networking.

 So if you are like me and have procrastinated buying your mom something special for Mother's Day this Sunday - give Dan Martin a call and you won't be disappointed!!!{ (404)261-1161}

In addition to seasonal and holiday arrangements, they also do weddings, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, and galas! I love the bouquet below!

The Brandeberrys: 4 generations of love ~ Lakeland Family Photographer

In April, I had the opportunity to photograph the entire Brandeberry Clan while in Central Florida for Easter. It's hard enough just to get my friend Amanda's siblings in one location let alone this whole family. It's great to know that they will have these pictures to share with new generations for years to come! It's families like this that make me love my job...
