Emma & Reid's Charleston E-Session ~ Charleston Wedding Photography

The last weekend of October, Brent and I got to spend the weekend photographing a wedding and engagement session in beautiful Charleston. Emma and Reid chose The Battery and College of Charleston as their e-session backdrops. Having met at the College of Charleston, it was only location that would work for them! The weather was perfect and we had such a fun morning. We are looking forward to their June wedding in Atlanta!

Lauren & Matt's Engagement Session on the Farm ~ Atlanta Photographer

Monday Night I joined Lauren, Matt, and their furry friends at Wilson Farms in Alpharetta for their engagement session! Lauren popped into the studio a few weeks ago to finalize her wedding photography coverage. She was decked out in full riding gear and was in-between dressage lessons. So when I showed up Monday, I was expecting maybe some riding boots with pants but she hopped out of the truck in 3" stilettos. A woman after my own heart that's for sure - love for horses and a good sense of style! I'm looking forward to their March 16th wedding at Naylor Hall with A Big To Do Events!

The Gangs all here.......

A small plug for Lauren - if any of you readers are interested in eventing or dressage lessons be sure to check out Bigtime Eventing! Lauren has been a competitive equestrian for over 20 years.

Cynthia & Dustin's E-Session under Old Oak Trees ~ Wauchula Photographer

While spending 2 weeks working around Florida, I popped into my hometown of Wauchula to shoot Cynthia and Dustin's engagement session. When some people think of Florida, all they picture is white sandy beaches and lots of retirees. However growing up in Central Florida , you know that the state is mostly orange trees, palmettos, old oaks with hanging moss, and lots of cattle. The rustic and untouched feel of Hardee County makes it a truly picturesque place for a romantic picnic/engagement session. I'm looking forward to flying back down for their vintage themed wedding at the Homeland Heritage Park in September!

Claire & Scott's Opelika engagement session ~ Alabama Wedding Photographer

I met Claire and Scott in the Historic District of Opelika on what seemed to be the hottest day of summer. Engagement sessions to me are the best because I really get to spend some quality time getting to know the bride and groom. However, we all agreed to keep this session really short! In just 30 short minutes, we wrapped up their session but it only takes a minute or two to see how these two adore each other. Being able to capture two people in love with all their happiness and emotion is truly the best part of my job! Plus getting to hang out with lots of awesome clients...

Doesn't Scott's profile and smile look very similar to that of Ryan Gosling's?

I'm looking forward to their August Wedding at Fox Hall Sporting Club! It's going to be a fun one for sure!

Rachel & Chris's Mulberry Park E-Session ~ Auburn Wedding Photographer

Rachel is one hard girl to get a hold of since she is a nurse working night shift. It took us for every to schedule a coffee date but I clicked with the couple right away. (sidenote- I'm also shooting Chris's sisters Kathryn's wedding so I already had an in with his family !) Their engagement session was planned very last minute to accommodate Rachel's schedule. We picked a park right around the corner from where she grew up in Auburn, Georgia. I loved the giant swing!!

Jennifer & Bill's Piedmont Park Love Story

Last weekend I had the privilege of meeting up with Bill and Jennifer downtown at Bill's condo for their engagement session.  We took a few pictures around the building than walked over to Piedmont Park to take pictures at the park bench where Bill popped the question! It was a humid evening in Atlanta but we still had fun taking some great shots of this awesome couple! Can't wait for their July wedding - it is going to be awesome!!

Below is my favorite from the session - the colors just pop! Plus you can kind of see Bill's building in the background.
