Ribault Club Charming Southern Wedding ~ Jacksonville Wedding Photographer

The Ribault Club is full of historic elegance and southern charm. It is located on Fort George Island near Jacksonville. Fort George Island is a fabulous wedding location with large oaks, breath taking views of the river, and of course, tons Florida Palms. It is a lot like how I picture Old Florida to be. Peggy and Andy had a beautiful outdoor ceremony under an old oak tree adorned with ribbon. Their wedding was romantic and casual. I loved their choice in flowers and use of feathers...

I'm not exactly sure what this conversation was about but just watching this guy talk during cocktail hour was hysterical!

 A beautiful rose petal exit!

The Blocker Family ~ Jacksonville Photographer

Every so often, I find myself in Jacksonville hanging out with one of my favorite families - The Blockers! They are a hoot... and every-time I'm around, I never know exactly what we are going to get into. Amanda and Eric had purchased a family session for his mom as a Christmas present and during my latest trip down to Jacksonville, we finally got to spend a morning taking pictures... so here is a sneak peek!

Below is my favorite... I do believe they were all laughing at me!

Merry Christmas Eileen...albeit a little late!!! And thank ya'll for being part of my life!

Patricia & Dan: Love in Stockton Park ~ Jacksonville Photographer

I'm going to start out by saying Patricia & Dan are my ideal couple - these two are real, down-to-earth people. I was in Jacksonville for a wedding and since Dan lives in Jacksonville, we decided to do the e-shoot there. I'm sure most have you have caught on that I'm a true Florida girl and that I'm constantly driving all over to see family & friends and capture a wedding or two! Since Florida is Über HOT & HUMID in June, we got up early to beat the heat and were in Stockton Park by 8am. Unbeknownst to us, so were most of Jacksonville's fishermen~ which that early on a Saturday I proceeded to call fishers-of-men because my brain wasn't fully functional! The shoot went well and the fishermen added character to the morning... we wrapped the session up in about an hour! I'm excited to show you a few of my favs...

Below is my favorite picture from the shoot. I told Dan to whisper sweet nothings in her ear. I'm not sure what he said but it made her smile and blush a little!

Patricia is stunning... I love this close up of her!

I can not wait until their December wedding in Tampa!!!
