Tour of Kitchens ~ Atlanta, GA

Beautiful kitchens, talented designers, yummy food tastings... and all for charity!
That is my brief description of the Junior League of Atlanta's Annual Tour of Kitchens. As The Junior League of Atlanta’s largest annual fund-raising event, the Tour has raised more than $1,000,000 during its history. The Tour is a self-guided tour through 14 kitchens recently renovated by Atlanta's top designers. This event is a great way to get inspiration for your own renovations while mingling with friends and tasting yummy food from Atlanta's top chefs.

All of the homes are breathtaking. I was lucky enough to get to help photograph 2 of 14 on Sunday....

This event is open to the public so if you are thinking of remodeling your kitchen or just love interior design... this is an annual event for you! So write yourself a reminder to join the Junior League next March/April.

JLA Little Black Dress Affair @ Belk - Atlanta, GA

The Junior Leage of Atlanta is "focused on improving the health, education and welfare of women and children, The Junior League of Atlanta serves as a much-needed volunteer resource and as a catalyst for positive change through our partnerships with more than 90 nonprofit organizations in our community. Last year alone, 1,800 active members provided more than 90,000 hours of volunteer service in the community saving charities more than $1.8 million." And if that isn't enough reason to be a part of this team of FABULOUS Atlanta Women.... The Little Black Dress Event is yet another very good reason.

Belk Department store is a huge partner for the League and each year we hold a private event in the Phipps Plaza Store. Great food & fancy cocktails from An Affair to Remember, giveaways, discounts, make-overs by Lancome - all with hundreds of your closest friends!!!








And my favorite part - a special performance by Atlanta Ballet's Nutcracker Performers.
It is a must see Ballet for peoples of all ages opening 11/27 @ the Fox and presented by Belk!!!
