Jeremy & Aubry were so excited to do their engagement pictures. They researched tons of venues, props, and clothing options. Although Stone Mountain Park wasn't their first option, I can honestly say that it turned out to be a beautiful option. The day was perfect for an engagement shoot and the lighting was easy to work with!
The two of them were naturals in front of the camera... I can't wait for their wedding in June!

Love in Athens ~ Athens, GA
Last weekend, I made the short drive over to Athens for Luisa and Alex's engagement session. I had never spent a lot of time there since I went to Florida State and Brent went to GA Tech. I was quick to learn Athens is a beautiful city. We spent sometime walking around campus near the UGA arch and then walked through the downtown area. It was a bit chaotic at first with tons of Prom kids and a few wedding parties all walking around taking photos...but we were able to get some great shots!!
I'm looking forward to their wedding in a few weeks.

In Love with Love ~ Greater Atlanta Photographer
My husband and I have begun reading the book - Five Love Languages. The book was recommended to us by Brent's cousin Steph. The author - Dr. Chapman - really gets you to think and analyze everything. And as I sit here examining a recent engagement shoot, I realize that I am in LOVE with LOVE! Love is an overwhelming emotion that can make you laugh, cry, dance in the rain.... or if you are me - dance on stage with my Husband at Sloppy's Joes in Key West while in my wedding dress! Love is the reason we exist and without it we would cease to exist.. As a photographer, I get to experience that love through my clients...especially my brides & grooms on their wedding day. So because I am still basking in the newlywed glow, I am offering a 10% discount on all wedding packages to couples that book a wedding from September-December 2011. And for any 2012 brides who book a package, you qualify for a free engagement shoot for being an early bird!!
Email me for more details and to check availability!! Discount ends May 31, 2011!
Cheers,

Callie: Class of 2011 ~ Atlanta, Georgia
Callie is your typical girl next door... sweet & smart! But you put her in front of the camera and out comes her edgier side. I was so excited to finally get to spend some time with Callie for her Senior Portraits. She choose Little 5 Points as her location and I think the pictures turned out great!
Callie ~ Congrats & Good Luck at UGA ... you are going to love your new life in Athens!! And if you ever need some advice on life at a large state school, you know where to find me!
Callie's little sister tagged along too and wanted to have her picture taken... how can you say no to a 2 year old that cute!
All I can say is you put her in a little black dress with a pair of Jimmy Choos and you won't be able to keep the Georgia boys off her!
Cheers,

Our mini-moon ~ Sanibel Island, Florida
It is hard to believe that two weeks ago, I married my best friend in Key West. Since we chose a destination wedding, we decided to wait on honeymooning so we have time to recover from the wedding. However, we decided we would do a "mini-moon" in Sanibel as we headed north towards Atlanta. This helped break up the über long drive and allowed for us to spend some quality time together on a beautiful island with great Florida Weather!!
Here are a few photos from our mini-moon!
We drove the Tamiami Trail accross the southern tip of Florida stopping at the World's smallest post office...
Brent broke out his 21yr old scotch I got him for a wedding present when we got to the hotel.
We managed to make friends with the local wildlife while hanging out at the lighthouse. Our second night, we enjoyed a lovely dinner at The Mad Hatter where we had a picnic sunset complete with a pail of champagne!
Before we left Thursday, we stopped by a local favorite - The Island Cow for a yummy brunch!

Kent & Michelle - Quite the Par! ~ Woodstock, GA
Billy Idol was right - what a nice day for a white wedding! The flowers were blooming, the sun was shining, and my Bride & Groom were full of happiness. Michelle is a girl after my own heart ~ in another life I would have sworn we were sisters! And Kent~ well, he is just the kind of man anyone would want to hang around with!
I wish these two a long life full of love and happiness....
Michelle's dress was beautiful!
Kent tried to sneak a few minutes to read a letter from his wife-to-be...
Michelle's son escorted her down the aisle....he was so excited for her.
Look at these two glow...it just melts my heart!
Vendors:
Venue & Catering: Eagle Watch Golf Club, a Canon Gate Property
Cake: Publix (and it was yummy!)
