Year in Review - 2012 Weddings ~ Atlanta Wedding Photographer

2012 - WHAT A YEAR!! In 2012 -  I shot 11 weddings, second shot 8 weddings, shot and helped plan 1 elopement, attended 1 wedding as a guest, and was in one wedding as a bridesmaids for a total of 22 weddings that I was actively involved in. I was also fortunate to be featured on multiple blogs including Style Me Pretty & Occasions Magazine.  I don't know how wedding photographers do 30-40 weddings a year - I guess they just don't spend as much time getting to know their clients like I do. I LOVE my peach blossom brides and I love getting to help add to the experience of their special day. I'm just coming down off the high of my last wedding which was 12/29. I'm excited to have a couple weeks downtime before my 2013 year kicks off in Key West in February with a wedding planned by Kelly at JUST SAVE THE DATE.

Below are our friends Kasia & Alex tying the knot at the Jekyll Island Club!  We had such a great time celebrating with them!

Below is a picture of me as a bridesmaid at my best friend Jess's wedding this past April at the Decatur History Center!  Cat did such a good job capturing the day!

I must really love the kissing pictures because I sure picked a lot of them to share! Thanks to everyone for making my year so special... I am looking forward to a brand new year with a brand new set of amazing couples!!! CHEERS To 2013... wait until you see what I have in store!

2011 in Review: Portraits

To compliment yesterday's post with a photograph from all my weddings is a compilation of portrait sessions from 2011. From families to infants and high school seniors to engaged couples, I had the privilege of capturing so many memories for so many fabulous people!

Thomas & Jessica - Charleston (Part I)

Thomas and Jessica's love story is one for the books. She was his boss's executive assistant in Seattle and he was the salesperson located into Atlanta. From the moment he saw her - he was captivated. Her beauty and smile could stop traffic. And she was smitten by his Southern Charm. During one of Thomas's trips to HQ in Seattle, he stopped by her desk and offered her some skittles and the rest is history. After a few months of long distance dating, she took a chance on love and moved to Atlanta to be with Thomas. Who knew skittles had that kind of power!

They are getting married next October in Charleston... and I am excited to be the one to capture their special day!! Below is a preview of their engagement session at Battery Park in Downtown Charleston!

Stop by next week for a peek at Session 2 in Elijay at an Apple Orchard!
