Cynthia and Dustin had a lovely vintage wedding at Homeland Heritage Park in one of the oldest standing churches in Florida. The beautiful
little church was built in 1887 and still has the original stain glass windows.
Their vintage inspired reception was held at Torrey Oaks Community Room. She
used a lot of her own antiques and creativity to give the reception hall it’s
vintage makeover. Cynthia and Dustin’s wedding is very special to me. Their wedding was the first wedding I shot where
I was surrounded by friends that I have known since I was a little girl. Her
sister Aimee and I have been close friends since Junior High. I actually took
pictures at Aimee’s wedding two years ago when my passion for photography was
just getting fired up! Cynthia & Dustin’s wedding was also my first
hometown wedding back in Wauchula, Florida were I was raised. It’s so nice to
have a great reason to go home and visit!

Hope & Mike's Vintage Wedding ~ Augusta Wedding Photographer
My first wedding post in 2012 is from a wedding I second shot in Augusta this past August. Hope and Mike had a vintage inspired wedding with lots of details. This post mostly captures a lot of those details to give future vintage brides some ideas. I love how Hope included a different design at each table at her reception. She also baked a lot of the yummy goodness at the gorgeous dessert table.
Best part of the bridesmaid dresses shot... the lovely hangers! adds a finishing touch and a pop of color. Great gift idea for your bridesmaids! And I love the brides custom hanger with her new last name!

Hope's beautiful lace dress adds to the over all vintage theme.

The Brides bouquet was wrapped with lace and twine...detailed perfection!
Not all Southern Brides choose to do a first look because it goes against tradition and the South is ALL About tradition!! However, Hope was sooo nervous she decided to do one last minute. I love being able to witness these. They were both teared up and just so happy to see each other on their big day!
Their reception was held at Marbury Center.

I'm in love with this little tea pot!

I like how Hope personalized the tables with their initials. Look how creative this display of her wedding invitations is!
Brides always ask why should they do a bridal session... below is a fabulous example! Hope used one of her bridal session photographs as a table display!
This is one of the best dessert tables I have seen... the his/hers chalkboards are adorable. And knowing she made a lot of the desserts makes it even better!

They had a great cake smashing... don't see these much anymore!

So excited for 2012 weddings!! I've heard the trend will be moving away from vintage to more "classical" wedding themes! We shall see!

Amanda & David's Vintage Inspired Wedding ~ Buford Wedding Photographer
Amanda and David had a lovely, quaint wedding at the Bona Allen Mansion in Buford, Georgia. Amanda spent lots of time focusing on all the details to make her wedding magical and personal...

Each table had a unqiue centerpiece made from an array of vases, bright flowers, candles and even vintage cigar boxes.

Amanda created super cute "Just Married & Thank You" Banners!
Candy Bars are all the rage right now.... but we love their unique twist - a cookie bar!

A beautiful wedding for a beautiful couple... we wish them all the love and happiness in the world!
Cheers,

Anthea & Reid's Vintage Wedding ~ Tallahassee Wedding Photography
I was down in Tallahassee for New Years Eve helping second shoot a wedding. Anthea and Reid had a lovely vintage inspired wedding. The weather was amazing - perfect for spending the day outside. According to the Irish Traditions the last day of the old year is thought specially lucky for weddings with the idea of commencing their newly married life at the beginning of the New Year. With that said- I leave you with The Irish Marriage Blessing that my mother read at my wedding!

Irish Marriage Blessing
May God be with you and bless you.
May you see your children's children.
May you be poor in misfortunes
and rich in blessings.
May you know nothing but happiness
from this day forward.
