Hope & Mike's Vintage Wedding ~ Augusta Wedding Photographer

My first wedding post in 2012 is from a wedding I second shot in Augusta this past August. Hope and Mike had a vintage inspired wedding with lots of details. This post mostly captures a lot of those details to give future vintage brides some ideas. I love how Hope included a different design at each table at her reception. She also baked a lot of the yummy goodness at the gorgeous dessert table.

Best part of the bridesmaid dresses shot... the lovely hangers! adds a finishing touch and a pop of color. Great gift idea for your bridesmaids! And I love the brides custom hanger with her new last name!

Hope's beautiful lace dress adds to the over all vintage theme.

The Brides bouquet was wrapped with lace and twine...detailed perfection!

Not all Southern Brides choose to do a first look because it goes against tradition and the South is ALL About tradition!! However, Hope was sooo nervous she decided to do one last minute. I love being able to witness these. They were both teared up and just so happy to see each other on their big day! Their reception was held at Marbury Center.

I'm in love with this little tea pot!

I like how Hope personalized the tables with their initials. Look how creative this display of her wedding invitations is!

Brides always ask why should they do a bridal session... below is a fabulous example! Hope used one of her bridal session photographs as a table display!
This is one of the best dessert tables I have seen... the his/hers chalkboards are adorable. And knowing she made a lot of the desserts makes it even better!

They had a great cake smashing... don't see these much anymore!

So excited for 2012 weddings!! I've heard the trend will be moving away from vintage to more "classical" wedding themes! We shall see!

2011 in Review: WEDDINGS!!!!

Oh how the time does fly - when you are having fun! This year will forever be one of the greatest years of my life - both professionally and personally. Some of the highlights include marrying my best friend in the Florida Keys this past April, leaving my corporate job to chase my dream job, and ending the year spending time with my family at our ranch in Central Florida. Many people love the snow and cold weather that comes with Christmas... I however prefer to have endless sunshine and 80 degree temperature! My husband on the other hand is spending his holiday season chasing penguins in the South Pole.

As January 1st quickly approaches - marking the end to this fabulous year - I wanted to share one of my favorite shots from each of the weddings I photographed, second shot at, or attended! From Destination weddings in Key West and Savannah to Country Club weddings in Tampa and Atlanta. It has been one beautiful year of weddings with amazing clients, friends, and family!

Of course - I had to include a favorite from my very own wedding!

Busy year full of love!!! I can't wait for all the beautiful weddings in 2012!

Stephanie & Mike: Flying High ~ Peachtree City Photographer

Stephanie and Mike had a beautiful wedding at the Dixie Wing Hanger in Peachtree City. Mike is a pilot and spends free time at Dixie Wing working to help restore World War II aircrafts. The wedding was unique and fun - very much like the two of them. They hired the Mud Cat Blues band to play during their reception. Not only was the band fabulous - they really worked to get the party going. I hope to see these two around at the Northside Tavern... Brent and I are planning to catch the Mud Cat Blues Band in action soon.

I also must brag on Stephanie... not only is she gorgeous - she is an amazing bargain shopper. She scored these hot Gucci heels off ebay. Who wouldn't want a new pair of blue Gucci heels for their Something Blue?

Cheers,
